Salford weather: Cold snap to continue throughout the week

More cold weather is on the way for Salford and temperatures will drop further throughout the week, according to the Met Office.

Luckily however there are no weather warnings for the remainder of the week.

Rain is expected from six o’clock tonight and will persist through till late Tuesday night.

Scattered, breezy showers will remain constant throughout Tuesday, with dry spells.

Fortunately no flood warnings have been released from the Met office so roads should remain normal despite the heavy showers.

Wind speeds up to 14mph are expected from 8pm and will remain until Wednesday afternoon when they will drop to a light 5mph.

Locals however can expect brighter weather on Wednesday and a maximum temperature of 5°C.

Thursday is expected to be cloudy with occasional patchy rain or drizzle.

The wet and windy conditions will return on the Friday with an average temperature of 4°C before dropping to a chilly 2°C at night.
