Sheep on the shirt as Irlam’s Kingsland Wines sponsors Salford Red Devils

Irlam wine and sprits supplier Kingsland Drinks has singed a kit sponsorship deal with local rugby league side Salford Red Devils for the 2016 season.

The dual sponsorship will show logos of both Kingsland and it’s own-brand New Zealand wine Shorn; which bears the image of a sheep on the label and is stocked in Morrisons supermarkets.

Kingsland Manager Director, Andy Sagar, said: “As part of our long term commitment to the local community, we’re extremely proud to be sponsoring and partnering with the Salford Red Devils.

“As loyal fans, we are delighted to get more involved and bring a taste of Shorn to the club”.

Martin Vickers, CEO at Salford Red Devils added: “Kingsland is a local company that shares lots of values with our team, so naturally, we’re delighted to have them on board.

“We’re looking forward to a great partnership between ourselves and Kingsland Drinks and the quirky wine brand, Shorn.

“Sheep on the Salford Red Devils shirt will be a first!”
