Man wanted for criminal damage to house in Eccles


Police searching for a man wanted for criminal damage now wish to speak to him in connection with a section 18 assault.

Antuanne Dwayne Elson, 30, is wanted in connection with criminal damage that happened at a house on Monton Lane in Monton, Eccles on 7 May 2015.

Police were called to the house after a man was refused entry and a plant pot was thrown through the window.

He is now also wanted in connection with a section 18 assault that took place at an address in Gorton where a weapon was used causing significant injuries requiring medical attention.

Elson, who has links to Salford and North Manchester, is also wanted in connection with a breach of a court order and a warrant has also been issued by Manchester Magistrates’ Court for his arrest.

Detective Constable Marie Eldred of the Greater Manchester Police North Manchester Division said: “We are still actively looking for Elson and we remain as committed as ever to finding him.

“He has links to the North Manchester and Salford areas of Greater Manchester so could possibly be staying with somebody in of these places.

“If anybody has any information about his whereabouts then please contact the police.”
