Salford Red Devils appoint Garreth Carvell as Welfare Officer

The Red Devils are delighted to confirm that Garreth Carvell has been appointed as the club’s new welfare officer.
Garreth is a well-recognised Super League player and has previously played for Leeds Rhinos, Hull FC, Castleford Tigers and Warrington Wolves. He has also made international appearances for Wales and Great Britain. He is currently under a playing contract at Championship side Featherstone Rovers.

As part of the backroom staff at the Red Devils, Garreth will provide a key link between the board room and the players. He joins former teammates Adrian Morley and Martin Gleeson at the Red Devils.

Red Devils CEO Martin Vickers said, “We’re really pleased to bring somebody of Garreth’s stature into the club. He has a wealth of experience and expertise that he’s gained from many years in the game and I’m sure off the field he’ll add further value to our already excellent support staff.”
