Little Hulton man charged after police seize £27k in cash and 1kg of cocaine


A man has been charged after police found large amounts of cash and drugs at a house in Little Hulton.

Drugs police executed a warrant on Old Lane, near the back of Dukesgate Primary School, in the early hours of Monday 22 February.

After a search of the house they discovered cash totalling £27,000 and a cocaine weighing around 1 kilogram.

Karl Berry, 42, of Old Lane has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and money laundering.

Berry has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 24 February 2016.

On Monday 22 February 2016 officers from Greater Manchester Police executed a warrant at a premises on Old Hall Lane in Little Hulton where they seized over £27,000 cash and 1 kilogram of cocaine.
