Watch: Mums appeal for help at petrol bombed Winton nursery

Parents and staff are appealing for help to clean up and restock a Winton nursery hit by a shocking petrol bomb attack.

Manager Jane Abell told SalfordOnline.com: “I want to issue my thanks to the community for the donations we have received already.

“If anyone has any information about the man who did this, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

The offender is described as white and of very heavy build and was wearing dark clothing, say Greater Manchester Police.

SalfordOnline.com broke the news of the arson on Monday 27 April.

The nursery will partially re-open on Tuesday 5 May but it will take weeks to repair the damage and bring the classroom back up to scratch.
