Crews battle Little Hulton house fire for three hours

Fire crews spent three hours this morning tackling a house fire in Little Hulton.

Two fire engines from Farnworth and Atherton stations were called to Rigby Grove, off Kenyon Way in Little Hulton, at around 12.30am on Monday 14 March.

Fire broke out in the front porch of a terraced house.

No-one was reported injured in the fire.

Crews used four breathing kits, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation fan to lessen the impact of the damage and to bring the fire under control.

Firefighters remained on scene until around 3.30am.
