Shelter For Forces Benefit – Saturday 2 April, 8pm til late – St Bonifaces Social Club

Organised by The Sounds of Salford Radio this charity fundraiser promises to be a cracking night with live music from Cinnamon Dinner, a DJ set, food, a charity auction with such great prizes as signed Manchester United shirts, cakes, spirits and much more.

All proceeds going to Shelter For Forces which helps in getting ex-forces personnel off the streets.

Admission is £2.50 on the door.

Help the Heroes Fun Day – Matchstick Man, Salford Quays – Saturday 2 April – 12pm -5pm

Call in at the Matchstick man pub on Salford Quays and help support Help the Heroes, a bouncy castle, DJ, face painting, BBQ, H4H Bear and much more a great family day out.

Pop-in art workshop – Saturday 2 April 2016 – 1pm to 3pm – Salford Museum & Art Gallery

Join Venture Arts for a family-friendly art workshop at Salford Museum & Art Gallery and help add the finishing touches in clay, fabric and porcelain to the new gallery installation for current exhibition Heart and Sold.

Through the Ages – Ordsall Hall – Sunday 3 April – 1pm – 4pm

Head over to Salford’s Tudor hall for Ordsall Live, their monthly family fun day packed with arts, crafts and activities.

Includes craft activities for kids such as making a Swedish heart basket, Victorian peg doll or using card weaving wheels to make friendship bracelets for just £1 per child.

Lark Hill Place Sweet Shop – Sunday 3 April – 12.30pm – 3pm

Join in on the first Sunday of every month and visit Mr Tomlinson’s Sweet Shop on the recreated Victorian street, Lark Hill Place and pick up some sweet treats!
