Morson Group fleet receive industry recognised accreditation

Morson Group have been awarded the Bronze Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme accreditation, a recognised industry-led audit process by Transport for London (TfL).

Seven of the Group’s sites have received the Bronze Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation, including the Morson International and Vital Human Resources head offices in Salford as well as Manchester, Canning Town, Chelmsford, Doncaster, Farnham and Glasgow.

The annual audit process is voluntary for fleet operators and sets out to raise quality standards by evidencing that the correct systems, procedures, documentation, environmental and safety standards are being met. The scheme also encourages businesses to look closely at their operations and identify strength as well as areas of improvement.

The auditing process involved three rounds of inspections, all of which produced outstanding results with no major or minor faults across the board.

Morson Fleet Manager, David Robinson, said: “Our Canning Town depot has been FORS audited for the past three years and we’re delighted to now have a plethora of sites outside the London area holding the accreditation. We recognise that the FORS standards raise the level of quality within fleet operations and want to ensure our other operating centres throughout the UK, and not just our London centre, reach and maintain these standards as well. We look to continue branching this out nationwide to eventually having all fleet-operating sites with the Morson Group recongised by FORS.”
