Competition winners for The Dragon Children – The Prophecy

Earlier this week SalfordOnline.com held a competition in which two lucky readers could win a copy of The Dragon Children – The Prophecy, by local author Hannah Byrne.

We asked you this simple question:

Which former journalist – who passed away in 20915 after suffering with Alzheimer’s – is considered the king of the fantasy genre with his Discworld series?

The answer was of course, Terry Pratchett.

The first two names out of our fabled lucky hat were, Rachel Blackaby and Shalene Hodder.

We spoke to the lucky winners and Rachel told us, “I am really chuffed to win this book, its for my eldest son, Nathan who is 13 and isn’t that keen on reading, hopefully this signed book will give him an interest, I know that I will read and enjoy it though”.

Shalene told us, “This is great news I am a massive fan of fantasy fiction and am really looking forward to reading this book, after I have read it, I will pass it onto my family members to enjoy. This has really cheered me up and many thanks”.

Commiserations to those who entered and didn’t win, but we have plenty more prizes coming along soon, so keep trying and you never know your luck.
