Metrolink customers are advised that Network Rail improvement works at Victoria Station will affect the Bury and Rochdale lines and some city centre stops on Sunday 17 July.

A Metrolink network map for Sunday 17 July shows which stops are affected.

The following Metrolink services will run:

Manchester Airport – Cornbrook
Manchester Airport – Firswood (3am – 6am)

The following replacement bus services will run:

Queens Road to Piccadilly Station: calling at all stops except Market Street.

Download a map showing replacement bus stop locations for these services at Central Park, Monsall, Piccadilly, Piccadilly Gardens, Queens Road, Shudehill and Victoria.

Summer transformation works mean there are currently no north/south trams running through St Peter’s Square or on the Eccles via MediaCityUK line.

The X2 bus service will run as usual on Sunday, calling at Piccadilly Station, Deansgate-Castlefield, Cornbrook, Trafford Bar (towards Eccles only), Exchange Quay, Salford Quays, MediaCityUK, Harbour City, Langworthy, Weaste, Ladywell and Eccles.

Passengers need to have a valid Metrolink ticket or pass before boarding replacement bus services. Tickets can be purchased from machines on stops or via the get me there app (available from Apple app and Google Play stores).
