Fire crews from Eccles and Irlam attended KBS, on Marten Road, Irlam, last night at 23.50pm after receiving reports of a blaze caused by a small amount of woodchips and sawdust inside the factory.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to enter the building and quickly extinguished the blaze.
There was minimal damage to the factory apart from smoke damage.
