Eccles Giving Day needs your help with donations

For the last three years your local councillors have organised Eccles Giving Day to support the efforts of local volunteers raising over £6,000 in donations to help those in need.

With the holidays approaching supplies are running low, thats why they are trying their best to make sure no one goes without over the summer by organising Eccles Giving Day 7.

All donations are welcome toys, baby clothes, food, in fact anything you can spare to help local families.

It’s very simple in the week running up to 13 August they are asking you to look for something suitable from your cupboard (or buy something extra when you do your shopping) to donate to our local food banks.

They will have transport available to collect your donation on the Saturday morning from 10am – 1pm and you can just call the number below or email them and they will call round and collect it.

Cllr Peter Wheeler: Tel 07880 790182 email: councillor.pwheeler@salford.gov.uk

Cllr Lisa Stone: councillor.stone@salford.gov.uk

Cllr Michael Wheeler: councillor.wheeler@salford.gov.uk

Or you could just drop your donation into The Mustard Tree, 15 The Southway, Eccles Precinct

If you would like more information about how you can help with the work of the Food Banks or would like to help with Eccles Giving Day just give them a call on: 07880 790182
