Emergency services were called to the junction of the East Lancashire Road A580 and Worsley Road, Swinton at 12.01pm today, Tuesday, 9 August following reports of a two car road traffic collision.
A white Mini Cooper and a Citroen van had collided.
The occupants of the Mini Cooper fled the scene before the police arrived.
No casualties have been reported or road closures.
Police enquiries are continuing.
