Stott Lane in Salford will be closed at the junction with Eccles Old Road this Sunday for repairs.
The route will be shut for six hours in a north-bound direction from 8am until 2pm on Sunday 21 August.
The closure is required to enable essential repairs to a telecoms mast at the junction.
Drivers will be diverted via Eccles New Road and Gilda Brook Road for west-bound traffic and Eccles New Road and Weaste Lane for east-bound traffic.
