Funding open for community groups in Salford


Two new funds have opened for applications from community groups in Salford.

The Nine Lives Community Fund is a partnership between Forever Manchester and the Chambers of 9 St. Johns Street, Manchester.

The Fund is currently inviting applications from groups that provide activities for young people between the ages of 10 – 18 living in deprived areas of Greater Manchester and with an income of under £150,000.

Priority will be given to projects working with children and young people with disabilities.

Awards of up to £2,000 are available.

Currently open for applications. Closes Wednesday 14th September.

Comic Relief Local Communities Fund aims to empower local people, enabling them to create lasting change in their communities.

Projects should be run by people directly affected by the issues they are dealing with and priority will be given to small, locally based groups or organisations. Gifts of up to £5,000 available.

Comic Relief are a Living Wage Friendly Funder which means they fund all staff costs at the Living Wage, please reflect this in your budget accordingly.
