Watch: Police release images of man wanted in connection with sexual assault


Police have release CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bolton Town Centre.

Shortly before 6.15am on Friday 19 August a man approached an 25 year-old woman on Crown Street in Bolton town centre

The man made inappropriate comments to the woman before exposing himself and sexually assaulting her.

The woman managed to get away from the man but has been left traumatised by the incident.

Detective Constable Ged Earley from GMP’s Bolton Borough said: “This was a terrifying incident for this woman and we are keen to find out who this man is.

“We have managed to capture a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the sexual assault. I ask that members of the public have a look at the images and see if they recognise him and get in touch with police if you do.”
