Jet2 adds 300 new jobs at Manchester Airport

Budget airline Jet2 is to fill 310 extra positions at Manchester Airport in a new recruitment drive.

The airline is looking for pilots, cabin crew and engineers to support its expansion in Manchester.

It’ll host a recruitment roadshow at Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport on Thursday 8 September, from 10am to 6pm.

Jet2.com is set to buy up 30 new aircraft as part of its expansion and has added its eighth UK base at Birmingham airport in its drive for growth.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “Our family-friendly formula is clearly working with customers and it means that we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing airlines.

“We have exciting plans to expand the number of destinations we fly to, as well as the number of UK bases we fly from, and this means that our team is growing all the time too.”

Jet2.com is the fourth largest registered airline in the UK.
