Salford City Academy opens its doors for latest open evening


Salford City Academy is getting ready to open its doors to parents and prospective students on Thursday 22nd September, when it stages its latest open event.

Executive Principal Helen Mackenzie, staff and students will show how the Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school ‘brings out the best in everyone,’ with a series of talks, tours and exciting activities, shining a light on the excellent educational opportunities.

Running from 6pm – 8pm at the Northfleet Road site, the event will showcase all of the different curriculum areas, as well as highlighting the academy’s fantastic enrichment programme.

Explained Helen:

“We are very much a school at the heart of its community, with a clear focus on enabling all of our students to fulfil their ambitions through the provision of the very best education in every subject, every lesson, every day.”

For those unable to attend on the 22nd, the academy is also holding open mornings on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st September from 9am until midday.
