20-year-old man found stabbed in Weaste


Police were called a house on Barff Road in Weaste on Friday night after a man was stabbed repeatedly.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated for multiple puncture wounds.

It’s understood the victim has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: “Just before 9pm on Friday 7 October police were called to a report that a man had been stabbed on Barff Road in Salford.

“Officers attended and established that a 20-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times.

“An investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing.”
