Wanted roofer arrested on cocaine and cannabis charge

Wanted man Dale Peppard has been arrested after skipping court on a cocaine and cannabis charge, Greater Manchester Police report.

Peppard, who is from Stockport but has links to Swinton, was also wanted on recall to prison when he went missing.

Police believed he may have been working as a roofer while evading the law.

Crimestoppers took the unusual step of putting out a £1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The 26-year-old was charged in December 2014 with possession of cocaine and possession of cannabis with intent to supply, but failed to appear at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court.

He has now been picked up by police.
