Shopper arrested for ABH in Salford precinct ‘dispute’


A man has been arrested on suspicion of ABH after a fight broke out with a security guard at Salford Shopping City.

Police were called at 11.40am this morning, Tuesday 28 July, to the Home Bargains store on Rossall Way in Pendleton, Salford precinct.

It’s understood the suspect got into an argument dispute with the security guard, but there was no theft from the store.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of section 47 wounding – assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Salford CID are investigating the circumstances.
