Bad news for commuters in Eccles who had plans to call in the The Lowry Outlet Mall or vsitors to the Lowry Theatre this weekend.
Metrolink announced today, Friday 31 July that trams running from Eccles to Deansagte Castlefield will not be stopping at MediaCity due to essential maintenance work on the track.
The tram service will reopen on Monday morning.
Services from Deansgate Castlefield to Eccles remain unaffected.
Passengers are advised to use Broadway or Harbour City which are a short walk away from MediaCityUK.
