The body of an elderly lady has been found at a house in Irlam.
Police were called to Liverpool Road at 9am on Tuesday 24 March after a call to officers for concern for the welfare of the woman.
When officers entered the house they discovered the body of an 84-year-old woman.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The file has now been passed to the Coroner’s Office.
