Police closed the entry slip road M60 Junction 11 roundabout at Eccles this morning to recover a broken down cement mixer.
Traffic officers blocked off the entry slip road to the motorway at around 8.30am this morning to recover the heavy vehicle.
The closure caused knock on delays around the Barton and Brookhouse areas.
As of 9.45am the slip road had re-opened to traffic.
