15 people have been arrested on Class A drugs supply charges in early morning raids in Salford.
Police say large amounts of illegal narcotics were recovered from properties in Eccles and Pendleton today, Wednesday 14 October.
They were specifically targeting organised crime gangs as over a dozen properties were raided.
It’s the first major show of force by Greater Manchester Police after the shooting of a 7-year-old boy and his mother, 29-year-old Jayne Hickey, at their home in Winton.
A cannabis farm and a variety of illegal property including a stolen motorbike was seized, say Greater Manchester Police.
