150 jobs at Exchange Quay as car insurance firm opens new Salford office

Car insurance provider 1ST CENTRAL is to open its third UK office at Exchange Quay in Salford, announcing a recruitment drive to find 150 new workers.

The firm’s claims teams and anti-fraud operations will move to the Salford offices, with jobs available in IT, human resources and facilities management.

Further growth is expected to deliver more jobs over the next year, 1st CENTRAL said today.

1st CENTRAL’s head offices are in Hawyards Heath, Sussex, and it also runs a call centre in Glasgow.

Bosses said the move would to a “regenerated area of Salford Quays”, would improve its ability to offer a more efficient service to customers and support the planned growth of the business for 2016 and beyond.
