Kids Planet Higher Broughton receive ‘Outstanding’ in Ofsted report


Kids Planet Higher Broughton in Salford is pleased to have achieved ‘Outstanding in All Areas’ Ofsted inspection in January 2016.

Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet Group said “I am extremely pleased that our Higher Broughton nursery has achieved outstanding by Ofsted. The whole team have worked extremely hard, with their commitment and passion, they ensure all the children receive the very best childcare.

“Staff are well qualified and have a wealth of knowledge about how young children learn. They use a variety of highly effective teaching methods that ignites children’s curiosity and enthusiasm to learn.

“The robust key person system effectively supports children’s emotional well-being. Staff form warm and supportive relationships with children, and have excellent knowledge of their individual needs. Children are supported particularly well during times of change, one example being when they move into the next room within nursery.

“Disabled children and those with special educational needs are supported extremely well. Staff work closely with other professionals and parents to implement precisely tailored care and learning plans which contribute to the excellent progress children make”.

The nursery located on the corner of Bury New Road and Park Road and is a converted Police Station and has been developed to meet the needs of local families.

The nursery has large bright coloured rooms with large outdoor play areas, freshly prepared meals are made every day which some of the children are encouraged to self-serve, the nursery also has a separate kosher chef and kitchen.
