A man has been charged with firearms offences after a gun was recovered at a house in Salford.
On Thursday 18 February 2016, officers from Greater Manchester Police working to tackle organised crime executed a warrant at an address on Armitage Avenue, Little Hulton and recovered a shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.
Daryl Hewitt (02/06/1994) of Denbigh Road, Swinton has been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm whilst prohibited to do so.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Salford and Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday 20 February 2016.
