Family frantic after popular Salford man Terence Ryan goes missing

Police are growing increasingly concerned for a man reported missing from Salford.

Chef Terence Ryan, 53, was last seen at his home in Weaste at 8am on Monday 11 July.

He had a day off from his job at the Dockyard pub at Salford Quays on the day he went missing.

Family in Salford are growing increasingly frantic.

Wife June says the disappearance is completely out of character.

“This has never happened before in all 29 years we’ve been married.”

Terence, known as Terry or Tex, was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and blue denim jeans.

He has three children, Jack, 27, Matthew, 25 and Megan, 22, as well as four grandchildren.

Jack said: “He’s very much a family man, he looks after his wife and his children all the time.”

Terry is a popular and well-known man in Salford, having worked at Mario’s Cafe in Eccles for 20 years.

Family are appealing for anyone who has information on his whereabouts to contact them or police on 101, quoting ForceWide Incident Number (FWIN) 1771 of 11/07/16.
