Police and family are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing 34-year-old James Hodgkiss.

Hodgkiss was last seen on Weston Street in Great Lever at 10am on Tuesday 2 August.

He has links to Little Hulton, Blackrod and the Crown Lane area of Horwich.

Detective Inspector Charlotte Cadden, for GMP’s Bolton borough, said: “This is out of character for James and we are appealing for him to get in touch so we know he is okay.

“If you recognise James and have seen him, please contact police.”

James is white and described as 6ft 2in tall, of slim build, has short dark hair and stubble and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing dark blue tracksuit bottoms, dark Nike t-shirt, black and white trainers and a dark blue jacket with a fur-edged hood.
