Ellesmere Park High School celebrates best ever GSCE results


Bucking the national trend Ellesmere Park High School, Eccles is celebrating their best ever results-significantly up 5% from last year – with many students smashing their already challenging target grades.

In English 82% of students were awarded A*-C with another increase in the highest grades– an incredible achievement.

Maths results were also higher – the best in the school’s history -which is very pleasing with almost 20% of the students achieving either an A*/A grade.

Many students scored A*/A in 8 or more areas with Heba Khalid leading the way for the girls and Daniel Patel doing the same for the boys. Other students who achieved well are Natalie Bowers ,Shaima Kaeem and Kaid Robinson.

Heather Aaron Headteacher said : “This is down to the teamwork within the school which works in partnership with students and their parents in our pursuit of excellence. The school’s vision of every student being Vibrant Inclusive and Proud is certainly true today.”

Steve Clapham Vice Chair of Governors congratulated the students on this incredible achievement and thanked the Headteacher and the staff for their commitment to the school and for their contribution to raising the standards of the school once again.
