Police have confiscated cannabis plants after stumbling across a grow in the loft of a house in Irlam.
Officers looking for a man in connection with an earlier incident were called to Dixon Street in Irlam at around 2pm on Friday 17 July.
They entered a house on the street, but in searching the property spotted a ventilation shaft leading from a downstairs room up to the loft.
Officers found eight cannabis plants in a sealed-off area in the loft.
The drugs have been seized and no arrests have been made.
