Recap: Super 8s: Salford Red Devils vs Leigh Centurions

Ian Watson’s Salford have the chance to overturn a galling Challenge Cup loss to Leigh Centurions with their most important match of the season yet in the Super 8s.

Join us here on Sunday 16 August from 2.30pm for live coverage of build up to the game that could decide Salford’s Super League future.

It’s no easy task, but Salford will need to win not only these home legs, but also at least one of their four away games at either Bradford, Halifax, Widnes or Hull KR to stand a chance of staying in the top flight next year.

The Red Devils have one win under their belts already, against Wakefield, so momentum is with the home side despite a series of shock revelations about players who could leave Watson and new Director of Rugby Tim Sheens in the lurch.

Kick off is 3pm at the AJ Bell Stadium.
