Man, 30, arrested after being stabbed in Little Hulton


A 30-year-old man recovering from stab wounds was arrested on suspicion of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was not charged and has been bailed until 27 September 2015 pending further enquiries.

Police were called to a house on Grassland Rise, on the Kenyon estate in Little Hulton, at 10.15pm on Saturday 8 August after reports of a disturbance between two men.

They found that one man had been stabbed and the other had lacerations to his arm.

Both were rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

The second man, believed to be 24, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

It is understood he has not yet been interviewed by police.
