Three cars have crashed in poor weather on the M60 motorway, with delays clockwise at Junction 12 for the M62.
A rolling roadblock is in place and police closed two lanes just before the junction for the M62 at Eccles/M602 for Salford.
There are no reports of any serious injuries, but delays are severe, with around 40-50 minutes added on to rush-hour journeys this morning, Wednesday 7 October.
The smash is causing tailbacks to Junction 6 at Sale.
The Highways Agency says it expects normal traffic conditions to resume from around 10.15am.
