Two large TalkTalk offices in Cadishead and Warrington have gone up for rent on the open market.
SalfordOnline.com revealed in June how the broadband giant had agreed by 2017 to move 1,300 staff from the Northbank industrial estate at Siemens Road, and Birchwood near Warrington, to 106,000sq ft offices at the Soapworks on Salford Quays.

Now TalkTalk have put their two former sites – 48,417 sq ft at Northbank House, and 54,793 sq ft at Stanford House in Warrington – on the market.
Commercial property agents Canning O’Neill and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) have been instructed to market the sites on a leasehold basis.
JLL director Chris Mulcahy said that out-of-town office markets, such as the business park on the Irlam/Cadishead border, were “performing well”, with activity “above the 10-year average”.
He said: “This, coupled with the fact that there is a limited number of opportunities to acquire buildings of around 50,000 sq ft in the out of town office markets, means that both buildings are attractive letting propositions and should compete well in the both the regional and local markets.”
Mark Canning, director of Canning O’Neill, said: “As a firm, we have developed a detailed knowledge of both buildings over
many years, having first acquired and then disposed of both on sale and lease backs, on behalf of The Carphone Warehouse.
“At Stanford House, planning consent has previously been granted for an additional office building of 45,000 sq ft on the site, which could take the total square footage to just under 100,000 sq ft an opportunity that may prove to be of interest to businesses which are looking to expand in the future.”
