Firefighters put out a blaze at a ground-floor flat in Salford last night.
Two crews from Salford Central and one from Agecroft were called to Seedley Park Road at 10.45pm on Wednesday 14 October to find a well-developed fire in the living room of the flat.
They extinguished the fire using water jets and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.
Fire crews spent over an hour at the scene, employing a thermal imaging camera to make sure the flames would not re-ignite.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
