One lane of the A6 Broad Street in Pendleton, Salford, has been closed after a car burst into flames.
Readers captured pictures and video of the incident, which happened the main road near the junction with Frederick Road at 10.17am today.
The engine bay of a blue Volvo V70 estate was well-alight.
No-one has been reported injured.
One lane on the A6 is currently closed while emergency crews make the area safe.
