“Halloween and Bonfire Night festivities have gone off extremely well this year with the majority of revellers having fun and staying safe.
“But it is despicable that is a small minority of people think it acceptable to attack police officers and fire officers carrying out their duty. Greater Manchester Police has welcomed information about the perpetrators and I appeal to anyone with additional information to come forward and contact police on 101. Clearly this type of criminal behaviour is unacceptable.”
