Firecrews from Eccles were called to Morrisons car park at 11.39am today, Monday 9 November after receiving reports of a car on fire in the car park.
A black Peugeot was found to have been on fire but had been put out before they arrived by the owner.
The firecrew decided to spray the car with foam to help cool the car down and awaited until it was safe for it to be taken away.
Nobody was reported in this incident.
