Drivers walk away from two-car Higher Broughton smash

Police closed Bury New Road in Higher Broughton last night after a two-car collision near McDonalds.

Ambulances and police were called to the crash scene at a set of traffic light at the junction of Bury New Road and Great Cheetham Street East at 7.55pm last night, Wednesday 11 November.

They found a white Ford Mondeo taxi and a silver Skoda Octavia both with front end damage, with the Skoda smashing into a nearby metal fence.
