Rajah Zamir is wanted on recall to prison

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man wanted on recall to prison.

Rajah Zamir (22/03/1983) has breached the terms of his license and has been recalled to prison. He was released in May 2013 after previously being jailed for robbery.

Zamir has links to the Rochdale, Cheetham Hill, Longsight, Old Trafford, Bolton, Bury areas of Greater Manchester.

Detective Inspector Rob Cousen of the GMP Critical Wanted Unit said: “We are actively trying to find Rajah and I would like to appeal to anybody with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

“If you see him, do not approach him but contact police immediately.

“This is also a warning to anyone who may be helping him that they too will be arrested for harbouring and could potentially face a jail sentence.”

Anybody with information about Zamir’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
