It’s the first time the Walkden teenager has entered a beauty contest, but she’s already through to the last stages of the competition.
But Sara tells us she wouldn’t even have considered entering if it weren’t for her family.
“My older sister Lizzie urged me to enter, initially I was a bit shy because I have never entered a beauty contest in my life.
“I only found out yesterday that I am through to the finals and I am still in a state of shock.”
She joins 21-year-old Vanessa Lee from Salford in the final, which will be held at the Palace Hotel in Manchester on 7 May.

Sara, who runs her own party entertainment business, likes to put a smile on children’s faces as a Disney Princess impersonator, as well as starting work as a nursery apprentice in Urmston.
“I am really pleased that I have made it through to the finals, I honestly didn’t expect to get this far.
And then there’s the charity work, running to raise money for Make A Wish Foundation, Brownie leading, volunteering with homeless people and her ambition and to work at Disney World in summer 2015.
“If I do win it will be a dream come true for me,” said Sarah.
“I would love to travel around the world, especially to Liberia helping young children.
“The charity, Beauty For A Purpose is close to my heart, it was founded by Julia Morley in 1972 and helps under priveliged children throughout the world, and I would be delighted to help them in any way that I can.”
40 stunning young ladies from across Greater Manchester will battling it out for this coveted award, the winner then will enter the Miss England 2015 final at a date to be announced.
