Man arrested on drugs charge in Broughton car wash raid

A 38-year-old man has been arrested after a drugs raid at a car wash in Salford.

Police and immigration officials arrived unannounced at the hand valeting and car wash on Broughton Lane at around 12 noon today, Wednesday 8 April.

The bust was part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in Salford, say Greater Manchester Police.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and remains in police custody for questioning.
