Grosvenor Road Primary School in Swinton has recently had a new building constructed on site to accommodate an additional 6 classrooms and 180 children.
To help us celebrate this event Adrian Morley opened the new building at a special assembly where he answered children’s questions and spoke about his recent climb up Mount Kilimanjaro.
Following the assembly, Adrian delivered a 40 minute Rugby Skills lesson to 20 of our Y6 children.
As part of the celebrations, Adrian attended a special assembly and answered many of the children’s questions about his life in rugby and his recent climb up Kilimanjaro. Mr Pridden, Headteacher, stated
“We are delighted that Adrian agreed to come and help us celebrate the opening of our new building. The children are so very excited that such a well-known local rugby star would come and visit them and then teach them as part of a rugby skills lesson!” >
