Coca-Cola’s travelling trucks have become Christmassy icons since they starred in the ‘Holidays Are Coming’ television advertising campaign in 1995.
Now the wagons are returning to the Salford and Manchester area on Saturday 5 December with a trip to the Trafford Centre.

From 12 noon to 9pm the bright-red vehicle will pitch up at Orient Square where families will have the chance to take pictures with the truck as it lights up, and experience a snowy winter wonderland setting.
It has now become a regular feature of festive TV schedules in more than 100 different countries.
Bobby Brittain, Marketing Director, Coca-Cola Great Britain said: “We’re delighted to be visiting Manchester this year as part of the Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour.
“By launching a competition for a member of the public to win a personal visit from the Coca-Cola Christmas truck and making a further 46 stops across the UK, we’re looking forward to being able to give a little happiness to as many people across the country as possible.”
A nationwide tour visiting 46 towns and cities across the country kicked off on 20 November.
This year the iconic advert returns to screens for the 20th year and will be played in the run up to Christmas alongside the ‘Give a Little Happiness’ TV advert in December, encouraging people to spread festive cheer throughout the holiday season.
