An accident on a busy stretch of road in Clifton this morning caused rush-hour delays for commuters.
Police were called to the scene outside the Lord Nelson pub on Bolton Road at around 6.30am.
They found a Ford Transit van had crashed with a parked blue Vauxhall Agila which was spun into the middle of the street with the force of the impact.
Officers recovered both vehicles and there were no reports of any injuries.
