Money was stolen during an armed robbery at a bank in Higher Broughton.
At 4.35pm on Tuesday 29 December 2015, four men walked into the Halifax on Bury Old Road, Higher Broughton. Two of them were holding an axe and a knife.
They threatened staff and demanded money from the till before they left.
The men were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
Detective Constable Joanna Flynn said: ““Thankfully no one was injured but the staff have been left shaken. I would ask anyone who may have seen these men either walk into the bank or leave onto Cheetham Hill Road to contact us as soon as possible.”
