Two men have been caught on CCTV stealing a hired van in Salford.
The shamless thieves distracted a member of staff at Salford Van Hire before dipping a hand over the counter and making off with a vehicle.
At 5.50pm on 1 October 2015 the two men approached the desk of Salford Van Hire on Great Ducie Street in Salford.
After a brief chat the man in the green hat reaches over and quietly takes the keys, before walking out of the door and driving the van away.
The first man is described as white, more than 6 feet tall, wearing a bob hat and a blue jumper.
The second man is described as being around 6 feet tall, wearing a dark coloured baseball cap and a dark coloured jacket.
Police are keen to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV.
Police Constable Vince Hankinson of North Manchester division said: “These men brazenly stole the keys whilst the staff member was trying to help them.
“We have carried out extensive enquiries to trace the men but we now
need the public’s help to catch them.
“The CCTV images are very clear and I have no doubt that someone will know who they are.
“If you recognise the men please get in touch with police.”
